(Early 2010s) Shinkansen, aka Bullet Train
Previously there was no fence between the platform and the train, but now there is an automatic opening and closing fence. What you see in these photos is a simple fence set up during that transitional period.
Tourists eat lunch and enjoy conversation on board, but business people using the Shinkansen look tired.
