In fact, this is an escalator built in the air to take you from the 35th floor to the 39th floor.

I used to see the building with the road through it (TKP Gate Tower Building) every day when I used to commute to Osaka on the Keihan Line!
So that unusual building was a very everyday building for you.
Oh, but it’s still fun to look at!
