Variety of Japanese Noodles
Ramen is the most famous Japanese noodle dish. However, there are many different types of ramen in Japan. For example, ramen soup is categorized into soy sauce, miso, salt, pork bone, etc., and the thickness and hardness of the noodles differ, as well as the variety of toppings. And, of course, the taste tends to differ depending on the ramen shop and region.

And in addition to Ramen, there are many types of noodles in Japan, such as Yakisoba noodles, which are made by stir-frying noodles on an iron plate, Udon noodles with thick and chewy noodles, Kishimen with flat noodles, and Somen and Hiyamugi, which are only about 1.3 mm thick, and even Spaghetti in Italian cuisine has evolved uniquely in Japan.
