(Early 2010s) Mama Kannon

“Mama Kannon” in Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture is the only breast temple in Japan. This temple was built in the early 16th century, and is said to bring blessings such as breastfeeding, child rearing, breast development, safe delivery, and child conceiving.

Worshipers write their wishes on wooden boards called ema.
