(Early 2010s) Mysterious Glass Houses
In Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture, where I happened to visit for work, I encountered an unfamiliar group of buildings. Those glass buildings didn't look like greenhouses. Some of them seem to double as residences, and I saw laundry hanging out to dry in the building. I was intrigued by the buildings and drove around the area to take pictures, but strangely enough, the buildings of that style only existed in a small area with a radius of several kilometers.
A few years later, when I uploaded these photos to Instagram, I got comments about the building's purpose. According to the comment, the specialty of this area is dried persimmons, and this building is a place to hang and dry the persimmons harvested in autumn. It was summer when I visited there, but I heard that the inside of the building is filled with persimmon color in autumn.

Persimmons! That would look very joyful.
Ah! You solved the mystery! 😊 I was wondering whether the same architect had built them all in that style but it was persimmons after all.
