(Early 2010s) River Rafting in Kyoto
In the previous article, I introduced trolley trains and horse-drawn carriages in Kyoto, but this time I would like to take a look at the Hozugawa River rafting.
The recommended route is to take a trolley train up from Arashiyama along the river, take a horse-drawn carriage from the terminal station to the boat pier, and board a boat to go back down the river to Arashiyama.
A boat selling food is waiting in the middle of the river, so if you buy food and alcohol there (For example: grilled squid, oden, mitarashi dango, snacks, coffee, green tea, amazake, beer, chuhai, sake, whiskey, etc.), you can eat and drink on the boat.

That really looks like fun
