Togetsukyo Bridge, which spans the Katsura River, is a highlight of Arashiyama sightseeing. By the way, the name Arashiyama（嵐山） means “Storm Mountains”, and Togetsukyo（渡月橋） means “Bridge to the Moon”.

Randen train is used to travel between central Kyoto and Arashiyama.
