Many people may think of bamboo as a symbolic image of Asia, Japan, and Kyoto. Arashiyama in Kyoto is home to a famous bamboo forest that is visited by many tourists.

However, the bamboo forest in Kyoto are not a special place, and there are many splendid bamboo forests that are not made into tourist destinations in Japan places.
