The monument in front of Nagoya Station, shown in the photo I posted this time, has been removed, and the Dai Nagoya Building has since been rebuilt, so the landscape of Nagoya has changed considerably in just 10 years.
It's sad to see something nostalgic disappear. I'm sure the area around Nagoya Station will continue to change with the construction of a linear motor car station.

Right. I haven’t been to Meieki since they took the metal sculpture out. Won’t seem like Nagoya Station without it. 🥲
