When I ride the ropeway, I get excited and smile. (^O^)

Only thing I don't like about Japan are some of the city's skyscrapers, hate those. They are utterly lifeless and cold, they have no place in Japan.

As to the ropeways they are terrifying, to ride in.

I don't like skyscrapers either, but I probably don't hate them as much as you do. (^O^)

Hahahaha tambun, my hatred is because I don't really like modernity/the modern world. I like Japan for example, but because I love the people there, and view the Japan of to-day as still connected to the bushi/samurai histories and stories I love studying so much.

Japan is sacred and very special to me, so to see skyscrapers there, seems at odds with the core and the traditions of Japan, so that I bristle and am filled with disgust.

Hen desu neh? I just think natural Japanese architecture is better. Even a Japanese convenience store appeals to me, but skyscrapers... non pas du tout (no not at all).

But I'm glad you don't like them either Shimizu-san, I don't feel as weird now.

Especially in this area, where the mountains and the sea are close together, it seems like various elements are condensed together.

This is what i love when i am At the ligurian coast. But all houses are like vintage ☺️ what is coming way less modern or technically infused
