I wonder if you ever photographed Showa era shops? This period fascinates me. During my historical and cultural research I did for my books, I watched and read a lot about this period. Japan of today is different than Japan from the alternate history universe of my books.
I think that there are a lot of awesome locations, including Shotengai, old arcades, shops, and parks, still left untouched, preserved by their owners for posterity. I very much wish to one day visit Japan and see at least a few of these places. Perhaps in a couple of years, after I sell more books? Let us hope everything will be ok and peace will reign across the world.

I only started taking a lot of photos after Heisei 16, so during the Showa era I hardly took any photos.

That skeleton at the chiropractic clinic looks like a mix of Xmas and Halloween.
Exactly!
Sushi delivery without a driver? 😯
Decades from now, unmanned deliveries may be possible, but for now humans are still driving them.
Uff. I'm so glad to hear

thought we (Germany) might be so much behind (technically). What I won't love to hear thought I prefer to be such an analog person.
I can imagine this might take not such a long period of time anymore 🤷♀️
