Smoking Area
This smoking area on the Shinkansen platform was removed a few months after this photo was taken, and a new smoking room was installed.
Currently, smoking on the streets is prohibited in major cities in Japan, forcing smokers to find smoking areas.
You can't smoke on the streets? We need that law here. I hate cigarettes. With that being said, they will soon charge for breathing air. It's coming.
