Family Mart has popped up alot this week on Substack! I never noticed any Subway sandwich shops in my travels in Japan. Interesting.
That's an interesting observation. Globally, Subway seems to have more stores than McDonald's, but in Japan, delicious sandwiches are easily available at convenience stores, so Subway is in the minority here.
