Do you know the name of the flower (there may be 2 kinds) both in Japanese and English?

It may be Hydrangea strigosa or Keyakiō no hana. Just a guess.

紫陽花 ajisai — which is hydrangea, and come in various colors and size of the inner blossoms

Unfortunately, I don't know much about plants, so I can guess that they are probably hydrangeas, but I don't know the exact species. In any case, they are plants that symbolize the rainy season in Japan.
