We’ve stopped using (at least we’re trying to get everyone to stop) using plastic bags for gathered leaves in favor of heavy paper ones which can be added to a mulch pile with leaves and all. Is that an option in Japan?
I don't know much about how to dispose of fallen leaves, but unfortunately, I have to say that in Japan, there is still little awareness of the negative impact that plastic has on the environment.
This must be in a forest. Why gather fallen leaves in plastic bags? They should be left there or composted. The second last photo is very artistic with the very old tree still alive.
