I am often mesmerized by the natural designs found in tree bark. And on trails I have walked for years I have watched trees die, and new ones grow, certain groupings were like families. The last shot of the water drop on broad leaf is amazing BTW.
Trees have a very special place in our hearts. These pictures show how special the are.
The painter Paul Nash 1889–1946 said
"I have tried to paint trees as though they were human beings, with their sensuous but mysterious personalities... because I sincerely love and worship trees and know they are people; wonderfully beautiful people"
