Your description fits these photos so well. When I walk at night, I never think to take photos, but I may just, so I can document my ordinary day-to-day in Kyoto. On a lighter note, I have been here 3 months and have never gone to a Mister Donut. 🙂
I don't actually take photos at night very often, but I'm hoping to start doing it more from now on. By the way, I only visit Mister Donut about once a year, and when I do, I’m a creature of habit—I always go with the "Old Fashioned".

I have to go to one at least once while I'm here. It is like having to go to MacDonald's just because it's different from the ones in the US.
