Goshikien is Japan's first and only Buddhist theme park, located on the vast grounds of Daian-ji Temple in Nisshin City, Aichi Prefecture. Goshikien is home to over 100 concrete dolls of monks, samurai, and other figures created by the unorthodox artist ASANO Shōun (1891-1978), who gained acclaim after his death.
