(Early 2010s)
these are great!
I love the first one in particular, it's like a still from a movie.
Mr. Takagi, who took the first photo, is a photographer whose specialty is dramatic photos.
I can see that, thank you, Akira-san!
Incroyable, sugoii! Shimizu-san wa sugoii no Shashin-ka! Totemou kandōshita.
Thank you for your praise. However, I was just photographed (^O^)
Love them!
Nice to see you, Akira. 🖖😬
Nice to see you too. (^_-)
Awesome!
I agree with Portia.
Nice to see you Akira san!
Nice to see you too Teresa san! (^_-)
😁 So that’s what my neighbor looks like! 😉
Wait, are you my neighbor?
Well, in a manner of speaking. We’re both in Aichi. 😉 One day, our paths might cross!
I see. I see. I was surprised because I thought you lived next door to me. (^o^) Well, we might bump into each other in the neighborhood.
Nice. After I became a professional photographer I almost completely vanished from photos. Part of the job, I guess!
Yes, people who are on the side of taking pictures tend to lose the opportunity to be photographed.
Love this kind of self portraits!
check out Josef Koudelka's Warsaw Pact troops invasion photograph where he unintentionally documented the start of the 2nd World War.
Can I call these photos self-portraits? (^o^)
Aside from that, I looked at the photos you recommended. They were taken in 1968, so it wasn't World War II, but if I had been there, I think I would have reflexively picked up my camera.
Oh I see, I thought they were taken against a mirror. And you're right, that was a late 60s shot in the old Czechoslovakia. My bad on both!
My brain is playing tricks on me today.
I also live my life with many misunderstandings all the time, so I understand exactly how you are feeling right now. (^o^)
