幸兵衛窯 Kobei Gama
(Mid. 2010s)
Kobei Gama (Kobei Kiln) was founded in 1804 by KATŌ Kobei in Ichinokurago, Mino Province (present-day Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture), and soon became an official kiln supplying porcelain tableware to Edo Castle.
Since then, Kobei Kiln has incorporated ceramics from all over Japan, as well as techniques from China and Persia, and continues to produce high-quality ceramics to this day.
