(Early 2010s)
My first smartphone was an iPhone 5. Since then I have bought several phones, but the iPhone 5 is the only iOS phone I have ever owned, all others are Android.
Although smartphone cameras have steadily improved, I rarely take photos with my smartphone because I always take my camera with me wherever I go and I love taking photos with my camera.
I started podcasting in 2005. I used a digital recorder and a lavalier microphone when recording outdoors, then switched to recording with a smartphone and a lavalier microphone. However, my focus shifted from podcasting to live streaming in the mid-2010s, and both have now stagnated.
I started using this watch in 2012 and still love it.
I used Nikon film cameras until about 20 years ago. After that, Canon's compact digital cameras and Nikon's digital SLR cameras were added to the lineup, but when I encountered the Ricoh GX100, my way of thinking about photography changed completely, and the number of shots I took increased several dozen-fold.
Unfortunately, the GX100 could not withstand several years of heavy use. In 2010, my next choice was the Ricoh GXR. The GXR was not just a camera with interchangeable lenses, but a very unique camera that used a unit that integrated the lens and sensor. I liked it very much, and bought two bodies and four lens units. My favorites were the 28mm and 50mm prime lens units. I always went out with two cameras in my bag. Due to heavy use, my GXRs started to develop problems one after another, and I had to send them in for repairs many times. Ricoh had already stopped production of this model in 2013. And I decided to graduate from Ricoh cameras for the time being.
