I love the pictures! The last one caught my eye—what's shown in it?
The last picture shows sake, kagami mochi, dried persimmons, chestnuts, and candle. These are things offered to the gods during the New Year.
These are all great, but especially the tatami mats.
They somehow remind me of the movie „quiet days“. So meditative.
I've never seen the film, but there is certainly a sense of serenity in these photographs.
