How are you digitizing? I've got a briefcase full of Kodachrome and Fujichrome slides from the '80s. If I could decide on a scanner, I might post some.
I digitize my films using JJC's "FILM DIGITIZING ADAPTER & LED LIGHT SET". If you care about the final quality, I think it's best to use a flatbed scanner or take the film to a lab to be digitized, but I like this method. I have an Epson printer/scanner I'll try. It does pretty high DPI. Your rig looks interesting, but I don't have an actual camera these days. There are things sold one uses with one's cell phone camera. Might try such a gimmick. Or get an actual slide scanner.
