With One Hand Without Looking
I stick to weird ways sometimes.
Sometimes I get into weird ways of taking pictures.
For example, there was a time when I walked around town holding the camera in my right hand and just pressed the shutter button without looking through the viewfinder or monitor screen and enjoyed taking pictures by chance.
This way of shooting gave me the joy of being freed from my egoistic intentions.

This is called "hip shooting." It is not weird. You can have fun with it and maybe get a few good pictures, or you can really give it a shot and practice it. By that i mean, you develop a "third eye" and can "know" what your camera is shooting. Of course you can't predict the details, but with practice you can know what the subject is and you can know when not to click the shutter, because of poor lighting, lack of contrast, etc. It can feel like "spying" and sometimes you will take photos that you may want to delete for privacy concerns. But hip shooting is a great photography practice that deserves a day in the (Tokyo) sun!
I am going to have to try this.
